Spartacus Gods of The Arena Episode 4, dont forget to watch
ReviewsInside - After waiting, finally me(sindoe) found X-Men: First Class. On Thursday, 20th Century Fox released its first trailer for X-Men: First Class, the new X-Men prequel starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence.
While they started off the marketing on the wrong foot, and while the film is being rushed to make its critical Summer release date, the fifth installment in Twentieth Century Fox’s X-Men franchise looks to rectify the mistakes of the previous two films (X-Men 3 and Wolverine) and re-launch the series in a new (and hopefully better) direction.
Watch and enjoy the X-Men: First Class trailer to see if they’re in fact heading in the right direction:
X-Men: First Class pulls viewers back in time to the 1960s when mutants are unknown to the world and for the most part, to each other, as we discover the origins of Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) before they part ways and end up on opposite sides of the human-mutant conflict, becoming Professor X and Magneto, respectively.

Jason Clarke and Jennifer Beals |
The Chicago Code, starring Jason Clarke as an individualistic policeman and Jennifer Beal as the Chicago Police Superintendent, debuted on Fox TV on February 7, 2011. The pilot introduced the characters and provided snapshots of their motivation and missions in a fast paced and gritty drama.
The Chicago Code stars Jason Clarke (“Brotherhood”) and Jennifer Beals (“The L Word”). The new police drama from critically acclaimed creator Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”), is filmed on location in Chicago, and shows off some of the grittier and more colorful portions of the Windy City.
The fast-paced series centers on Jarek Wysocki (Jason Clarke), a local legend and a larger-than-life veteran of the Chicago Police Department. Jarek works the streets on a crusade to clean up crime and avenge his brother’s murder. Teresa Colvin (Jennifer Beals), his ex-partner, is the first female police superintendent, wielding considerable power. Colvin is on a mission to fight corruption in the department, which involves considerable danger.
Wysocki has some interesting quirks. He hates swearing and he cannot keep a partner. He is also having an affair with his ex-wife behind the back of his 27 year old fiance. At the end of the pilot, it seems that Wysocki has found an acceptable partner in Det. Caleb Evers (Matt Laurie), even though he is a Cubs fan.
Jennifer Beals gives life to the character of the first police superintentent of the Chicago Police Department. Unfortunately, the character of a female outsider in the position of power in the city known for croonism is unbelievable. It is a nice Hollywood plot, but not very Chicago.
The cast of The Chicago Code also includes Delroy Lindo (Kidnapped) as Alderman Ronn Gibbons; Matt Laurie (Friday Night Lights) as Det. Caleb Evers; Devin Kelly (Tease) as Jarek's niece, Vonda Wysocki; Todd Williams as Isaac Joiner; and Billy Lush (The Black Donnellys) as Irish thug Liam Hennessey.
THE CHICAGO CODE is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and MiddKid Productions. The series is written and executive-produced by Shawn Ryan and Tim Minear (“Dollhouse”). Charles McDougall (“Big Love”) also directed and executive-produced the pilot episode.
